Feeding newly hatched chicks

Gonna be first time chick dad and I was wondering if it's safe for day old chicks to eat guinea corns both the red and white one
If not at what age can it be advised giving it to them

I don't feed treats until they're much much older. I don't know what guinea corns are but they need protein so just stick with chick starter for now.

Guinea corn are very small sized seeds

Let me clarify, no treats until about 6 weeks but you want to use the chick starter until they start laying.
