Things are drying up here in California. The greens are about gone and the fruit trees are being ravaged by birds. My chickens eat what seems to be a lot of plums that get knocked off by birds. Should I limit the fruit they can get?

I wouldn't limit.
I have lots of fruit trees in the chicken yards, mostly mulberries.
The chickens can't keep up with the berries that fall. They eat a few in the morning and occasionally throughout the day with no problems.
In the winter when the persimmons fall, every morning they run under the persimmon trees to get them. No problem.
I think fallen fruit is a natural chicken food - as it would be in the jungle.

Thank you ChickenCanoe. I was mainly concerned because their poop seems to be a little runny lately.
