So I just read in the sticky above that spinach can be bad for the ducks. And my dumba** has been feeding it to 'em for the last week or so. Luckily, we have dandelions growing all over the property here.

Also didn't realize they do need grit, just like chickens. For the most part, I've been feeding them the same Dumor 20% feed I give the chicks, but I suppose I should work some grit into their diet as well.

The seem so much happier (and wetter) now that I switched to a dog watering dish instead of the 1 gal. plastic waterer I was using. Didn't realize they needed to clean their sinuses.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the great info, and if you have any other tips, I am wide open to suggestions.

    Glad you've been helped!

Just keep visiting the forum. My first year, I don't know how many times I would just scan through the topics, sometimes use the search utility to find specifics. There are some very kind, very knowledgeable people here.

    Enjoy the duckies!

And upload some pictures if and when you can! We love the eye candy!
