Feeding pheasants pumpkin?

What about frozen pumpkins? If we gathered a bunch and tossed them in our freezer would the birds eat them once they thaw? How long do pumpkins actually keep in the freezer?

I gave them 2 apples today and the apples were gone withing an hour!

I'mgetting persimmon trees, mulberry trees, and hazelnut trees for my pheasants (who are still in the incubator - 5 days to go!

I give the guts of cantelopes/muskmelons to mine. Got pumpkins and other melons and squash growing for my animals.
