FEEDING TRAYS

i HAVE YET TO FIND A FEEDING TRAY SYSTEM GOOD ENOUGH FOR 25 HENS. THEY USUALLY SPILL OR ARE NOT BIG ENOUGH ETC. ANYONE KNOW A GOOD ONE FOR THIS MANY HENS?

I would just use one or two of the biggest feeders you can find at the store.

I made this "FEED BUCKET" using designs and comments of others.... I haven't used it yet....

The string that ties the elbow rearward, keeps the opening between the elbow and the bottom of the bucket, from opening too much and dumping too much feed in the "feeding" area and feed "hopefully" from being knocked to the ground....

It is a 4" 90 deg elbow.... the cut out lets the birds stick their heads in farther, especially smaller birds..... The cut was sanded and melted with a torch to remove jagged, sharp edges.....

The gap, where feed flows, is approx. 1/2".......

edit and added...... Cost was less than $5.... you might need 3 or 4 feeders like this one.....

yes I have several yet still looking for that perfect multi feeder

I'v used both of these types and really never had a problem. Also if they work for all my birds they will work for your 25.
You just have to get the right size or use more than one.
