What is the best kind of feed for newly hatched turkey poults? If I have a brand, I can buy it off amazon.com.

Very very very important to get turkey starter or gamebird- it has higher protein @30% I think. I saw the devastating result on turkey poults with the wrong balance of nutrients at a farm that I worked at 3 years ago- unfortunately I wasn't with the livestock but in the dairy kitchen or I would have been able to intervene earlier. The poults had no muscle tone and their legs became splayed around 3 weeks and they were after a week completely unable to walk :(

It can be turkey starter or gamebird starter or turkey/gamebird starter. If it has at least 28% protein it will also have the proper levels of lysine, methionine and niacin.

Good luck.

That was caused because of the lack of the proper amount of niacin in the feed.
