Hello all I have 13 ducks they are about 10 weeks old. one of them has angel wing so I've been trying to cut down on the protein they get. I am following Metzer farms feeding rules which state a 24% protein for the first 2 weeks or a 20% for 4 Weeks then 17%-19.5% until first egg. I've been using a 18% chick start an grow. so with my duck with the angel wing I know I have to cut the protein down and I was doing that but have run out of oats yesterday but I've found a bag of frozen stuff croutons in my freezer can I use those to cut the protein. even though I read not to feed bread to ducks. thanks for any help.

I really don't know about ducks - if you go to the "Other Backyard Poultry" forum above, you can post on the Duck thread. People there should be able to give you the answers, I can't. Welcome to Backyard Chickens (ducks too)
