Feeding wheat

So there are wheat fields all around us. They harvested a couple of weeks ago and it looks like they just missed the truck with one load. About 60lbs of wheat left on the ground for weeks before I decided to "save" it from certain death.

Here you can see our St Bernard hard at work carrying a fanny pack full of wheat.

So the chickens don't seem to be the biggest fans. WHY can they never enjoy anything that is FREE.

Try mixing it with something they do eat. My chickens eat all the wheat that's in their scratch.
