Feeding yard clippings

How often can you feed them yard clippings? My birds would eat it all day everyday if I let them.

Well, when they free range they eat grass all day, so what's the difference? I DO hope you don't use any herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers on your grass?

I have heard that grass clippings can cause crop impaction. Apparently they eat the whole piece of cut grass as opposed to nibbling the tips off growing grass...not sure if this is a fact but wanted to pass it along and maybe we can get someone more knowledgeable to respond.

Yes, make sure the clippings are short. Also make sure there are no gas fumes or other fuel related particles on the grass. Another thing, make sure they're FRESH.
