I was just wondering what you all feed your ducks , when and how much?

I tend to only feed my ducks at night time in their coop but my partner sneaks up and feeds them in the day too.
Would it be too much for them to have constant access to food?

Hi Jessica I keep food out at all times during daylight take it up at night. always make sure to have a water source when feeding. Mine still forage too. But here in winter there isn't much to find to eat.

When they are small I keep food out all day and I think with my girls I may try to keep food out as well. With my pekins I fed them twice a day because I couldn't keep the dogs out of their food and I was worried they would get fat. I'm in TX so we have some type of green almost all year and I let me forage all day. I feed my young adults grower rations and will start later pellets around 6 months so I only have females.
