Mine are 2 1/2 weeks and I always fill when i see its empty....
Even after having them last year I always forget how piggy they are.....

I don't really measure just keep an eye on them...check 3 times a day....starting to take the lights off them so they won't freak out too much once they get outside...OINK

Whereabouts are you in eastern ontario? i'm north of Belleville.​

I have a couple of those hanging feeders. I take the feed away about seven in the evening and put it down about seven in the morning. You don't need to feed corn. We feed broiler starter, grower, and finisher. Or would if we could get it. Since we can't, we feed turkey starter, grower, and finisher.

As for finishing the meaties...I finished them with wheat and some oats last summer...Last 2 weks I think...Corn can put on fat...but not sure...will look at my books tomorrow.

I know where bainsville is, not because I've been there but just because I used to like maps ha ha.

We've got 8 acres north of Belleville at the tip of Stirling-Rawdon Township, which is south of Marmora... so Springbrook really.

We've got 18 RIR X hens which will be a year old July 15, 5 EE chicks that are 4 weeks, 3 buff ducklings at 4 weeks, 27 meaties, a quarter horse apparently welsh cross that stands 14hh, Luna, 5 dogs, and 3 cats (2 are feral kitties we took in for mouse control from the toronto humane society... they brought us a dead mouse yesterday LOL).​
