feeling a little blue

I culled one of our roosters this evening and I feel rather bad about it (moral issues). It was not a very nice rooster and it was somewhat of an agressive rooster too. I hope I did the right thing, I couldn't give it to anyone because of its behavior. I just don't feel good about it.

Awwwwww, :aww Im so sorry. But, if he was a mean one...and had "issues" It was the best thing to do. Its never easy to do, but sometimes....it has to be done.

well.....killing it to be blunt....my mom use to send all my "pets" to winnipeg

Culling is pretty much removing it from the flock, whether it be by killing it (in the case of it being mean) or re-homing it (in the case of not wanting it to be part of your breeding program).
Almost all my birds have been "culls". There is a breeder on the other side of town that sells the birds that aren't up to the standard, therefore, she can't breed them.
