Feeling Concerned

I looked up that mini 7. Funny how the add says to turn the eggs three times a day but doesn't mention how one would do it. You can't turn end over end and they all sit upright next to each other.

I'd just tilt the entire unit. Put a book or block under one side then move it to other side of incubator to tilt in opposite direction next tilt. Back and forth tilt is all you need to do. As many times a day as you can. If your home and three hours has gone by since last tilt then tilt it other way. Remember the object of turning is to keep the embryo from sticking. It doesn't matter if you turn odd number of times or even number of times or if you turn three times one day and five another. None of that matters. The more times you turn the better.

Back in the days of hand turning eggs and tilting incubators I'd space out three a day and was very diligent about it. Great hatch rates. As the years went by the excitement of turning lost it's luster. Might have turned twice a day. Those hatches suffered and only got 60-70%. Ran out and purchased an auto turner for my hovabator table top and had my first 100% hatch.
