I'm pretty happy to see this. My fiance and I are planning on raising chickens for meat and eggs. After living in Southwest Kansas for almost 2 years, I have come to pretty much hate the commercial meat industry. As soon as we can get out of state and get a house, we'll be getting our chicks. I was pretty sure he was going to have to do the killing. I can clean and dress a kill, but the actual killing gets me a bit. But this method doesn't sound too bad....nice and quick.
