Hi all. I’m new here but love this site. I need some help with one of my Lavender Orpintons. She’s the smallest of 5 hens and a Roo I got from my sons workmate who moved. I noticed one of her feet turned inwards. Over the last few days her other foot is also turning in and her thighs are very large. She waddles like a duck but can keep up with her sisters and run. But she often sits in the egg box alone. I’m worried that she might be in pain. Any thoughts? What could this be. Only my second year with chickens.

Hi Eggcessive. Her hocks seem to be okay. Checked her crop which seemed empty. And while I'm not even sure how to check if she's eggbound her belly seemed large but soft. She didn't seem to be in pain when I lifted her and moved her legs but the lavenders are much more difficult to examine than my reds. Also not as friendly. Tonight as I was getting them into the coop she seemed fine. I turned for about 2 minutes and found her lying on her side but she jumped up again and went in. I plan on getting her to the vet but any ideas would be appreciated. I feel so bad for her. I've attached pictures. I hope they come through.
