My year & a half female Pekin duck, Posey, is not well! She stopped laying eggs about 3-4 weeks ago, has become very quiet and moves slowly and is just not feeling well. What can I do and what should I do?
I live in San Francisco, the weather has been dry and hot, they do have water and shade, but I am very concerned about her. My male, Piotr, seems just fine. We have had a problem with rats for many months, but aside from trapping them regularly, there is not much I can do about the rats. It is Posey that I am very worried about. I hate to stress her by taking her to an avian vet, but that may be the best to do. Anyone have any thoughts? Please.
