i have about a half acre run for my chickens and ducks, its completely fenced in its not covered though. yesterday i had a chicken drown in the duck pool and my female mallard go missing no feathers or blood anywhere and no way for her to leave. (her wings were clipped) and she has never left the side of my pekin ducks.... any ideas i would LOVE to know what happened to her this all happened in the space of an hour about 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
and Welcome to BYC! Sorry about the loss of your duck. You might try posting in the Predators and Pests section about what might be capable of making off with a mallard duck in your area.
