Female Mandarin Wanted

I purchased a pair of juvenile mandarin ducks about a year ago at a flea market. It has been a wonderful experience watching them grow up and transform due to the coming of spring. Unfortunately I have been unable to really tame them and opted to limit interaction with them so as not to put undue stress on them. Long story short the female escaped and actually flew away. I maintain hope that I'll find her, but realistically I know the odds are slim. I know this may seem like a long thread, especially for a "want ad". I just wanted to express that I really do care for my animals; as I'm sure probably everyone in this forum does. I would really appreciate any and all help finding a female mandarin for my male. I feel bad that he's alone and even though I try to interact with him, (and he's definitely becoming tamer) I know human interaction cannot replace the companionship of a female duck. I currently live in Dallas, TX. I'm hoping to find someone local, or someone willing to ship. Thankyou for your time.

It's barely been a week. I'm hoping she's still around. I still drive around every day hoping to find her. I have my fingers crossed that you're right.

She could even be visiting when your not looking is he calling for her? I hope you can lure her home some how maybe a platform with feed and water during the day an taken up before dark?
