Female mating behavior?

I have two female ducks (they have both been laying so that’s how I know). Recently I’ve noticed that one of them likes to get on top of the other. It looks a lot like mating, but they’re both girls so it’s just one duck sitting on the other… is this normal?

Very normal. Usually when females do it to each other it's a sign of dominance or taking out their sexual urges on the other. It's not a concern unless she's hurting her companion.

Completely normal. My girls try to mate eachother all the time. They don't have a drake so they try to take the role themselves
It can also be due to dominance, which again is normal.
