This happened many times but I became just curious today. So, just before I let my duckos into their den, one of my female muscovies made this noise it sounded like (vuup vuup vuup vuup but replace the v with a o) repeatedly? Does this mean anything? It's not a trill.

It might be broody coming on, and I'm just associating it with egg laying. I notice the twins get a little more bitey when they putt putt, too.

I just know for mine this time of year with breeding and laying season coming up quickly they are making a lot of different sounds. I love it. And getting testy yesterday one of my Muscovys had a chicken by her tail feathers. No one got hurt but it was pretty funny.
