female quail so panic and cannot lay!!

well since she was a chick she was always so panic and runs all around the coop and she started laying since she was 6 weeks but today she keep on running all around the coop like she used to but she just couldn't lay..could it be an egg bound ??(though i feed calcium supplement in her water)and she's always really shy and coward

Try to pay attention to that. If she is egg bound she won't poop.

i think she wants to lay..but i just can't understand her attitude she's really skitish

Maybe you had a predator incident that scared her?

My female quail are skittish too...well, all of my quail are, actually. It's in their nature, as prey birds. Do you have other quail in the coop with her? What is your set-up like?
I would recommend giving crushed up oyster shell on the side for calcium, rather than dissolved in the water. That way your quail can choose to eat it only when she needs it.

of course i have them indoors and i have two dogs..well she laid a 2 hours ago and it was a tiny egg
