female vs. male

Question:

I have two turkeys that have beards. I thought that they were female but I was told no that they have beards so they are male. BUT they do not have spurs? All my other males have spurs. Do all males have spurs? Do only males have beards? They are not pure but the breed is Royal Palm. They also do not strut........

Some hen turkeys can have beards. It depends on how old they are for the spurs, the older they are the bigger the spur gets. Gobblers also have a long snod. If there is a dominant male close by the other males will not strut. Do they gobble?
