Females Geese w/out Gender-Would they nest?

Female Geese with out Male/Gander - Would they nest?
For example like chickens nesting often, even if there is no Rooster & no fertile eggs...
Please advice. Thank you!

Yes they will and sit on non fertile eggs too but not a good idea to let them. It’s their hormones that’s starts the broody behavior once egg laying get under way.

I would never let any of my Birds to sit on non-fertile eggs.
The moment I see chicken sitting, I run to near by Farmer & bring good fertile eggs. For goosie I would do the same...Nonetheless, I already put an Ad that I'm looking for male Sebastopol. My Plan "B" was to bring Fertile eggs if I see goose sitting next year or 2 years later. They are young, but fed well, so maybe they nest in a Spring?

If you get a gander she’ll most likely lay and hatch next year. Hope you can find her a mate!

My Toulouse sat their first clutch of eggs at 8 months of age and hatched 8 goslings. That was about 4 years ago and except for the loss of a couple they are still going strong. We do remove any eggs right away now as we have enough geese to satisfy.
