Fenbendazole Administration

I'm treating for worms with Fenbendazole. I am noticing my hen picks her tongue up when I insert the applicator. I'm giving her 1.5 ml; she weighs 6 lbs.
Question: Is it OK if some of the med gets under her tongue. I have to do it alone, so it's a little tough. I feel sorry for her.

With chickens I like to give no more than 0.5 ml or 1/2 ml orally and then let them swallow, then give more until it is finished. I usually hold them, and pull down on their wattles to open the beak, give the 1/2 ml, release the wattles for them to swallow, and repeat.
