Fenbendazole granule 22.2% dosage for Chickens?

Unless one knows the density of the granules and the math to convert it, they will have to be weighed with a milligram scale to give the proper dose. The suspension or paste would be easier to give the right dose.

You can weigh yourself on a human scale, then weigh with the chicken and subtract.

I already opened it. I think it was 222 mg/g.
It is, but to give it you will need to weigh your gosling. It cannot be used unless you get a weight.

If you grind up the granules, add 20 ml of water, stir well, you will have a liquid that equals approximately 110 mg per ml.

It was a powder. I think I poisoned my goose.
I have her a pack.

Ok I think I have figured it out. My parasitology book says 50 mg/kg of fenbenzadole for poultry. 1 packet is 1 gram which is approx. 222mg/g. If she weighs 4 pounds then that would take 200 mg. She did not eat every little bit so she should be fine.

4 pounds = 1.82 kg
1.82 kg x 50 = 91 mg

So she got twice what she should have, but that's okay, fenbendazole is pretty safe.
