Fence for muscovies

I know nothing about keeping these guys caged, but they live wild around here (they're so prolific they're considered a nuisance species to be rounded up and killed on site :( ) And I can tell you that most of these ducks can and do fly VERY well, male and female both.

I'm still undecided as to whether I want to have a flock of these, or a flock of runners. But I have always LOVED those ugly mugs. lol

Are you in Florida or something? I'm in Hawaii, and part of the reason I love these muscovies is that they are so well adapted to the subtropical climate (as opposed to the mallards). They don't mind hot weather and so on. Besides, they just have an awesome, laid back personality that is really endearing and nice to work with, although most ducks are like that!

Yep, Florida, :) I always thought muscovies had THE best personalities...even though all the ones I've met were wild, they were always willing to be friends with anyone who fed them lol. I just love the "hiss" vocalization and the head bobs. So much personality. :)
