Fence height

Going to fence my chickens under some pine trees...how high should my fence be so they won't get out by going over. Cut away branches about 6 ft from ground. How high can they go?

Some hens just can't be fenced in. 4 ft keeps some in for the most part but birds will fly. My leghorns fly up on the roof of my house with ease.

Some chickens can't seem to figure out how to fly over a fence until dusk falls, then they fly over it with ease.
