I have five chickens and two ducks that free range. We live on a couple of acres and the chickens are wonderful about staying in the yard. The ducks on the other hand like to wander at times. They'll wander down to the sidewalk, very close to the road. I'd hate to coop them up, but I'd also hate to see them get hurt or cause an accident. I was thinking about putting in some shrubs or growing a patch of tall grass to deter them from wandering past. Has anyone else contained their flock in this way?
