Hi there, I plan on burying some chicken wire underground all around the circumference of the run off of the coop...in order to make it more predator proof... how deep is sufficient? I also will need a solid roof over the run, what is good to use for northeast PA..? (Snowmageddon) thanks so much!!

Chicken wire will rust within months, hardware cloth is recommended. I believe it's recommended to bury at least a foot deep.

Ditto on chicken wire being no good for anything but keeping chickens in. 1x2 welded is much easier to work with and just as effective as HC. You only have to lay it on the ground it does not need to be buried. Use 18"-24" out.
