Hi, what fencing is the best to prevent predators from getting in and on the top to keep hawks out? lionpearl

Chicken wire on the top with good support cross braces. On the bottom, chicken wire covering the 'walls' and running outward at the bottom about 2' away from the coop. inside use hardwire cloth 1/2" opening from ground up about 2 - 3 feet so critter cannot reach inside.

I use 2 layers of chicken wire. I overlap the holes in the wire to make them smaller as snakes can get thru the holes in one layer of chicken wire.

For chicks I have a good size cage covered in screen wire, it was cheaper than hardware cloth and easier for me to work with.
