Hello. The last couple weeks I have spotted a lone cat wondering around our property. I have kept my chickens locked up but my ducks wander around during the day. I was wondering if I have to worry about this cat. My 4 Ancona ducks are always together and quack at everything that moves. My dog is no help since he is only outside to pee and and on a leash. Thanks in advance!!

Generally cats will not harm adult chickens. Baby chicks,,,,,, and all things are different.
You can see in my Avatar,,, that mine do not bother even my small Serama. They always were licking their chops when looking at my adult pigeons:drool which were same size or larger than my Serama. No pigeons currently.:(
I still have these Feral rescues around the house. Still have 2 bantam OEGH and other LF. Cats do not show even playful interest in my chickens.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

We also “rescued” a feral kitten. He was very interested in the chicks when they were tiny and even jumped into the brooder once when my husband turned his back(he got him out before anything happened but wasn’t sure exactly how long he was in there for) but he ignores the big chickens and they ignore him when they are all outside together.
