I have some fermented feed, and it seems okay. Bubbly, milky juice, smells fermented. However, a few days ago and tonight, there was a few little circles of white mold? floating on the top, probably the size of 5 grains of rice each. Last time, I just poured them off and fed it. I was really worried, but my chickens are still alive... I don't want to waste the food, and won't it just happen again if I make new fermented feed? But I found the same thing tonight, so I feel like maybe I should just start over... How deadly could this mold be?
My other question was- is it okay if their is a sealed lid on it? It's just a screw on lid... I don't want bugs or anything getting in there. Maybe I'll leave a crack tonight.
Thanks!
