I also use one of those black double bin feeders. But, I put OS and grit in mine. I really like it. I like the key holes you made. I've done key holes to hang some OSB over the openings of the lower nest boxes to keep the chicks from fowling (pun intended) the boxes at night. I was thinking about making an other trough feeder to place between the studs in my coop, with key hole hangers.
