I found this super cute barrel cart on wayfair. Thought I would share the deal here if any of you want to put your bucket on it to tote around.

I was also wondering about the tap water for fermenting. I was either using water we bought or letting my tap water sit out so it would dechlorinate. I was afraid the the chlorinated water might kill the good yeast and bacteria. It would sure be easier to just use it right out of the tap if that's just as good.
I live in San Diego. The must heavily chlorinate the water. We get what's left after the Colorado river and Los Angeles has their share. I can't stand to drink it until it's gone through the brita. I use it straight to ferment my feed there has been no problems at all. It ferments well in 3 days like others have said and with back slopping old feed with new dry feed it ferments overnight.
Thanks, I may just out of curiosity try some both ways and see what happens.Just get a 5 gallon bucket of water and let it sit overnight. Chlorine will evaporate. Some say use it at once but why chance it.
