What is fermenting your chicken feed and how do you do it?

I WISH someone that has been doing this for awhile would give directions for new folks so they wouldn't have to wade through that long thread for the meat birds. I am still trying to read it and just started feeding mine ff about 4 days ago now. They are loving the stuff and almost take me down to get it. I had one cockerel to jump up on my arm while I was trying to get the food in the door. lol That was only the 2nd day of them eating it. I have to lock them in another pen so I can get their food in their bowls or they try eating out of the spoon as I try scooping it into their trough. lol
Everyone is doing different foods in their ferments.
I am only using chick starter grower in mine.
