fertalized egg?

Doesn't this mean its a fertalized egg? when you hold the flashlight up to it, it shows a circle on it? new at chickens and 1st time incubator eggs. yes theres a rooster in with the hens. they are all about 1½ to 2years old

Usually there is a small black comma shaped object in it, but it won’t appear black from the outside. It may look like a circle on the outside.

That's the air cell. All eggs have an air cell regardless of if they're fertilized or being incubated.

The only way to tell if an egg is fertile without incubating is cracking one open and looking for a bullseye on the yolk.
