Fertile chicken/turkey egg?? Possible muntant egg...

Just heard something about like chicken turkey crosses will never turn out to be a female... hmmm... I hope this egg hatches

I really hope it hatches. Is it 28 for turkey eggs? Maybe it would take less as its cross chicken

If it makes it past early incubation, it should be about 25 days incubation time. However, I would candle it every few days and definitely take a look at day 18 and see how it matches up. It shouldn't be ready- crosses will almost always lean towards the longer incubation... But don't get your hopes too high. It will probably not survive early incubation.

I set it 3 days ago and it still seems to be alive... Hmm I wonder what it will look like if it does make it...

Very interesting.....hope it hatches.

There are very few cross-species matings that work in nature....occasional crosses of lion X tiger =liger which is huge, but I think it's infertile.

There's also the common horse x donkey = mule.....again infertile.

Whatever, hope it gets to hatching and DO take pics.
