Fertile Cockerels

At what point will my cockerels become fertile? They’re about 23 weeks old. The eggs I’m getting right now don’t appear to be fertile, but I am seeing them mounting the hens.
 
I usually wait until 6-8 months, depending on rooster and breed as well as individual :D I assume your hens are adults as you said they're laying, are they under 2 years? : D
I am not sure. They were given to me in March, and I don’t know how old they were (nor do I think my friend actually knows either, he just grabbed me a pile and said ‘here ya go’). He gave me a roo also, but after he murdered a hen, he went to my freezer. They eggs were all fertilized up to that point, and I introduced the cockerels after that.
