Right so I know that moulards are Muscovy hybrids and are infertile. So are ducks which are hybrids but have no Muscovy in them are fertile? So I could successful cross my Aylesbury X Welsh harlequin ducks with my Magpie drake which would create a fertile egg and would hatch?

Yes you can. And yes it would.

All mallard derived breeds should be able to hybridize add remain fertile. Think of it like dogs! Scovies are a different species than mallards, hence why their mutts can't breed.
