So 6 days ago I introduced a Rooster to my hens to fertilize their eggs. On a whim I checked an egg today. I thought it took 7-10 days for eggs to become fertile after the act. Or is that a rough guideline. The egg pictured sure looks fertile to me. It was laid today. Almost exactly 6 days after bringing in the Roo. ???
