Fertile Egg Questions.

I just dropped off my Japanese Bantam at my friends house so she can mate to their rooster and I will get fertile eggies. If he mates her once (he only mated her once and then ignored her) How long will her eggs be fertile? She lays about every other day. Thank you.

Her eggs should be fertile starting in about three days and for at least two weeks after that, maybe three. I'd probably leave them together a little longer so hopefully he will mate her more, just to be fairly sure.

So how long do I leave her with him to get at least 10 fertile eggs?
