Fertile eggs?

Mine started back in the winter before I picked up the roo. It's been getting worse started with a few hens - now I have 13 out of 17 hens with missing back or tail feathers. Well I have the same RIR hen sitting in one of the nest boxes 3 days now. Every time I open the door she squaks are me and tries to peck my hand if it gets close to her. I'm thinking of sticking a few more eggs under her.

But I'm not sure if I should move her or just leave her be? I have a large dog kennel that I could line with hay and stick her and the eggs in. She would be safe in there but I'm just not sure if that the right thing to do or not. I guess I need to tap in the brain trust of you all here at BYC, to help me determine the best course of action.

I would leave her where she is at. I moved my only hen that ever went broody and she was not happy and abandoned the eggs. So if I have another hen decide to sit on eggs again, I will not move her just for that reason. But I am by no means an expert so I a hoping that someone else chimes in with some great advice for you on that. I would stick a few more eggs under her for sure tho.
