Fertile eggs?

Dim as in not very smart. He's always losing the flock, can't figure out where the opening of the gate is, just doesn't seem as smart as the hens. But again, I am new to chickens, maybe he is just mellow.

Oh, well he is young I would give him time. But if this continues I would look into getting a different Rooster. The point of a rooster is for fertilization and to help protect and lead the flock. If he keeps it up I would be culling him. Good Luck! :)
 
Yeah, we hadn't planned on a rooster at all. I'm trying to rehome him first before freezer camp. My 10 year old would be too upset to eat him :)

Well culling means either kill or rehome, and I understand how your 10 year old feels. Best Wishes! :)
