My 6 month old silkie boys layed these, they are fertile right????I know I said boys! They were 6 months old and no eggs so I had my dh hold them last week and I really inspected them and thought sure they were boys and thats why no eggs, well a few days ago I checked and low and behold I had two eggs,I was so excited I brought them in and opened them to see if they were fertile not expecting them to be cause I have never seen the 6 month old rooster doing anything at all even the little dance(he must have wanted privacy and took them inside the coop)Now that was Sat. and have no eggs since then but I know pullets are slow when they first start laying.I have three in with him now I have to fiqure out who is laying,I thought sure I was doing better sexing them thar silkies but they proved me wrong.

Hi! My 2 female muscovies have just layed fertile eggs. Do I need a incubator? Can ducks raise it themselves? Many thanks
