Fertile or not

We are still somewhat new at raising chickens. We bought 16 last fall and found that two were roosters so we gave the Roos away about two and a half months ago. We thought the rest of our chickens were hens but when cracking open the eggs we find many that look like the one above. The hens are 7 months old and none stick out as being larger or having more predominate combs. Can anyone give me their opinion...is this a fertilized egg or not?

Glad you could join the flock! It looks fertile to me!! You must have a sneaky roo some where in your flock.

I am curious to know since it does look fertile from my research. Please check back if you hear a crow.

No crow yet, I was told if there is only one roo then it might not crow but back when we had Roos only two were crowing out of the 16 we had.
