Fertilized egg cracked a few days before hatching

Hi everyone…
I’m in tears, I feel horrible I was Candling some fertilized chicken eggs, since they were meant to hatch a day or so ago and they look like they are just about ready to hatch with the chick taking up most of the egg the incubator slipped from my hand and then I didn’t even realize I was still holding the egg and I dropped the egg now the egg has a small crack in it and I’m super worried and sad and distraught about what just happened. Does anyone have any recommendations I’ve seen that you can use candlewax to fix them etc. I’m really upset
