While we are not permitted by law to keep chickens here on Coronado (Boo!), I run a homeschool science co-op that is looking to hatch chicks. This is our year-end project and the students will be taking on much of the responsibilities associated with our endeavor. Does anyone have around 12-20 eggs we can purchase? We can pay or simply bring the chicks to you when they reach an age you determine. I would love to bring 6-8 students to the egg pick-up if allowed so they can visit your chicken operation and make an entry in their nature journals. Our incubators arrive Monday.
