? fertilized eggs through the mail

Hi, i am hoping someone can answer this question.....should you let the eggs rest for a day once you receive them before putting them in the incubator? My daughter seems to think she read this somewhere but everything i have read say the sooner they go in the bator the better. Thanks, i appreciate any input please!

ya u have to wait until they reach room temperature

Allowing the eggs to rest once you unpack them gives time for the eggs to acclimate to your environment before setting them for hatching.

I let them sit for around 8 hours to come to room temp. Then I put them in the incubator, but unplug the turner for the first 24 hours, so they can settle.
