Fertilized or unfertilized?

We had a rooster in got rid of him 2 weeks ago all of the eggs are cracked look like this

Yes...that looks to be fertile.

Normal blastoderm (the white dot) is the female DNA. The male DNA creates a halo or ring around the white dot.

2 weeks is almost the end time when hens will be fertile. After mating, the hen retains sperm in a little pocket in her egg duct that fertilizes her eggs. That lasts about 2 weeks, sometimes up to a month.

You are to the point that the eggs need to be set if you want to get chicks.

A fresh egg that is fertile is best set within 7 days of being laid. After that, hatchability begins to decrease. After 14 days of being laid (but still fertile), almost 50% won't hatch.
