Fertilizing Eggs Question??? Plz Help!

Okay I am kinda new to chickens. I have read a lot of books. They Really helped. I have 26 chickens. I just got myself a rooster yesterday. He has done fine. They fought abit but everything is settled now. So I was wondering if my rooster can fertilize the eggs after they are laid??

NO he only can fertilize while the eggs are in the hen...

Okay Thanks someone else told me they could be fertilized after they were laid.
